Lightning is a 7 yr old 15.3 chestnut with a flaxen mane & tail. He has been trained in dressage and jumping. He is competent over a 3' course and shows ability for higher. He has been ridden in a clinic with German Clinician, Hans Biss and shown in dressage schooling shows, so he is calm and reliable off the property. He has been schooled cross country at Boca Negra cross country course in Albuquerque and handles water, ditches and drops well. He is calm on the trails and ridden on the ditchbanks frequently.
Lightning was shown at the 2011 Las Cruces Horse Trials in November at the Novice Level and finished 4th. In the Watermelon Mountain Pony club Horse Trials in May 2010 and finished 3rd in Baby Novice -- His first show. He has been shown in the Sandia Classic jumper show in 2009 and performed well in the warmup with no spooking and in the indoor arena.
