Boarding:   Horses are stabled in 12x12 box stalls with attached individual runs in a center-aisle metal barn.  There is a tack room with individual saddle and bridle racks in the barn.  Horses are fed 3 times per day with Alfalfa or grass hay.  Grain or special supplements are fed upon request (owner provided).  The Farm has a jumping arena with a full jump course of about 18 jumps and a gymnastic line set up for jump lessons.  There is also a permanent 20 x 60 meter dressage arena with sand footing, as well as a round pen.  Boarding is also available in a shed row with individual large runs attached to a 3-sided cinderblock run-in shelter. Unlimited riding on the ditchbanks is available right out our driveway.

  Training:  Jose Luis and Marybeth offer Dressage training and Jumping training for you and your horse.  The horse is ridden 3, 4 or 5 times per week depending on the horses' needs.  Ground manners, trailering, clipping, lunging are also addressed in the training process.  Jose Luis has trained many horses from just broke to FEI level in dressage for their owners.  He has shown these horses and qualified them for USDF Regional Championships, year-end awards and USDF All-Breed Awards.  He has a wealth of knowledge of many different horses and years of experience dealing with different horses.
 
Solving training issues and producing successful results is common place in our business.  Owners are encouraged to come out to watch the training sessions and to ride their horse as their training progresses. Jose Luis not only makes his own horses, he is talented enough to show a "made" horse. Although he has goals for each horse, he does not have a deadline for achieving those goals.  Development and learning is achieved at a different rate for each horse.  Showing the horse in training can also be arranged in order to further the horse's education, experience & confidence.

Instruction:  Dressage riding lessons are available to boarders, as well as to trailer-ins.  Jose Luis often goes off site to give lessons.  Jose Luis has over 40 years experience instructing students.  He was in charge of teaching new recruits in the Mexican military to ride, and has worked with many individuals from "baby-boomers" just getting back into riding, to children learning how to navigate on top of a horse. We use radios with an earpiece for instruction in order to teach correct communication between riders and their horses.

We have a full jump course available for teaching horses & riders to jump and jumping lessons are also available.  Occasionally, school horses are available for dressage lessons depending on the rider's skill level.  Lessons are geared toward the individual's goals for themselves and their horse.  Jose Luis has over 40 years experience teaching all levels of riders from all backgrounds.  He is committed to teaching with a sensitivity toward the horse's welfare.
